Each year we offer a different collectible prayer card, with a different prayer written by a different krewe member on the back, and a different image on the front. 

This year's prayer is by Jen Ramos, who portrays Joan of Arc burning at the stake in our parade: "May the love of the Lord enter our hearts and guide us in building His army by living out the virtues exemplifed by our beloved St. Joan of Arc. Let Truth and Light guide our courage and bravery. Let Faith burn away all fear and darkness. Let love of our neighbor weave threads of humanity into our community. Lord, we seek your divine justice in our lives and in the world around us. May peace begin with us. Maid of Orléans, intercede for us. " 

For 2025, the central image of the prayer card is "Glory to Joan of Arc," an original collage by artist Carol Lynch of Metairie, selected for our 2023 Joan of Art juried art show at Ariodante Gallery. For 2025 and the last several years, the prayer card frame is based on the Book of Hours of King Charles VIII of France, made in the late 1400s in Paris. François Barbier painted the border miniatures. Look closely at the medieval border and you will see no two years are alike!
