Concept:
About 25 years after her death, the Catholic Church held an amazing re-trial to clear Joan’s name. The trial was held in multiple cathedrals in different French cities, and witnesses who had known Joan of Arc throughout her life testified about their memories of her character and the events of the time, giving us an unprecedented historical record.
Full member costumes:
Most of the full members in this section choose specific characters who testified at or were involved in the re-trial — her knights, her spiritual advisors, her co-commanders, her childhood friends, etc.
Props:
Props of three French cathedrals where the trial was held (Notre Dame, Rouen, and Orléans), accompanied by an explosion of church architecture elements — rose windows, gargoyles and ringing bells (bells rung across France when her innocence was declared)
