2023 New Orleans “Maid of Honor” meets French “Jeanne” in Orléans
Emmeline Meyer, who portrayed “Joan of Arc” in the 2023 Krewe de Jeanne d’Arc parade in New Orleans is shown above meeting the 2023 “Jeanne d’Arc” of Orléans, France, Clairvie Quesne. Emmeline left for France on July 1 on a travel scholarship and cultural exchange generously arranged by the Rotary Foundation of New Orleans in partnership with the sister city Rotary Club of Orléans, France. Clairvie will visit New Orleans during our 2024 parade.

We have a jam-packed next few months before parade season starts. Our Joan of Art submissions are open with the gallery launch the first Saturday in September. We will be at Culture Collision and competing in the Snoball competion in August.
