The Victory at Orleans doubloon has an image representing our new Gates of Orleans prop with the city of Orléans coat of arms on it and has the date of Joan’s first victory over the English, breaking the siege of Orléans. The main krewe battalion will parade behind this new prop representing the people of Orléans. The Flaming Heretic doubloon features a reproduction of an actual medieval wood block print of Joan at the stake, with Joan’s signature and birth and death years. The Joanie on the Pony doubloon features an image of New Orleans’ and says “New Orleans’ Joan of Arc statue, gift from France 1958”.
