We offer a line a T-shirts, tote bags and other products featuring these special images for St. Joan’s 100th anniversary through our Cafe Press store.
Usually we have a medieval theme, but our special logo for the 100th anniversary of Saint Joan of Arc’s official canonization deliberately evokes the art deco of the late teens and early 1920s of the moment of Joan’s canonization and the peak years of advocacy for her formal canonization. During this time, she was a popular symbol for suffragettes and others advocating for increased rights for women as well as among spiritual advocates. The Joan face comes from a 1920s French stained glass window (design by Amanda Helm, copyright Krewe de Jeanne d’Arc 2019).
Joan’s own quotes form her sword and body in this original design inspired by krewe member Carol Lynch and executed by krewe graphic designer Amanda Helm (copyright Krewe de Jeanne d’Arc 2019). We offer a whole line of T-shirts, tote bags and other products with this image
