Add a krewe card to your personal throw creations to add meaning or connect it to Joan’s story. For example, put it in a bag with your throw or punch a hole and tie it on. OR, hand out the individual cards themselves as throws,  especially  if they represent your character or your battalion. Choose from:

1. New this year: The Executioner playing card features Geoffrey Théron, who carried out Joan's death sentence, a task that haunted him the rest of his life.
2. New this year: The Bastard of Orléans Jean de Dunois, knight leading the Orléans forces and long-time comrade in arms of Joan.

6. Joan's Sword playing card featuring the church of Sainte-Catherine-de-Fierbois, where Joan's ancient sword was found buried (this is the "year of the sword", and we're also featuring the sword story on our doubloons and coasters)
7. Suffragists playing card honoring leaders of the women's suffrage movement who costumed as Joan of Arc for rallies. We'll also have a new group of krewe members portraying suffragists in our Legacy battalion in the parade!
8. Jean Bréhal playing card, featuring the cathedral Notre Dame de Paris, honoring the re-trial to clear Joan's name, which took place in Notre Dame cathedral.
9. Christine de Pizan playing card celebrating the medieval feminist poet who wrote about Joan
10. La Hire playing card of Joan's most famous and most fierce fighter and the original (and still current) Jack of Hearts in the French deck
11. Hector de Gallard playing card, the original Jack of Diamonds who fought with Joan and went on to found the Grand Garde elite fighting troop
12. Saint Michael playing card with the Prayer of Saint Michael on the back, one of the saints who told Joan to fight for France
13. Warrior Spirit playing card celebrating Joan and modern warriors, including the real women soldiers who will be in our parade for the second time this year!
14. St. Margaret and Adversaire the dragon (one of the voices through which Joan heard God's guidance -- this card now names and highlights the dragon)

Sold in packs of 20. Each playing card features a character based on medieval art on the front and a short bio of the character on the back. The first playing cards with faces were created during the reign of Charles VII and featured characters from his court, including Joan of Arc, and most of the artwork is based on actual medieval art.
