Add a krewe card to your personal throw creations to add meaning or connect it to Joan’s story. For example, put it in a bag with your throw or punch a hole and tie it on. OR, hand out the individual cards themselves as throws,  especially  if they represent your character or your battalion. Choose from:

2. New this year: La Hire playing card of Joan's most famous fighter and the original Jack of Hearts
3. New this year: Hector de Gallard playing card, the original Jack of Diamonds who fought with Joan and went on to found the Grand Garde elite fighting troop
4. New this year: Guillaume Manchon playing card. He was the notary who transcribed Joan's words at her trial, and later he testified at her re-trial about the corruption in her heresy trial.
5. Warrior Spirit playing card celebrating Joan and modern warriors, including the real women soldiers who will be in our parade for the second time this year!
6. St. Margaret and Adversaire the dragon (one of the voices through which Joan heard God's guidance -- this card now names and highlights the dragon)
7. Fool/Jester playing card (carrying our birthday cake and emphasizing Twelfth Night traditions)

Sold in packs of 20. Each playing card features a character based on medieval art on the front and a short bio of the character on the back. The first playing cards with faces were created during the reign of Charles VII and featured characters from his court, including Joan of Arc, and all the artwork is based on actual medieval art.

• Krewe members may purchase sets of 20 complete “collector packs” each pack containing one of each 2024 playing card to hand out on the route as a set, plus an overview card (overview only included in collector packs). 
• Included free with full membership, krewe members will receive ONE collector souvenir pack with one of each of this year’s playing cards.
