As foot soldiers, you are the backbone of our procession. Thank you for coming out on a very cold night to choose joy with us as we celebrated St. Joan. We know it wasn’t easy to get there either emotionally or physically and we truly appreciate your energy and commitment.
You are the people we’d love to have as members for the many things we do each year; book clubs, socials, feast day gatherings, craft days, our art competition, our educational salon, and so much more-there is something for everyone. If you would like to become a full member, we are offering a discounted rate as a thank you to foot soldiers until the end of January. Just follow this link and use the discount code FOOTSOLDIER ! We also welcome you back any time as a volunteer foot soldier, and that sign-up is also open now for 2026.
It was very cold and very late when we finished the procession. If you forgot to return your costume-or were unable to join us and need to return it- you can drop off your costume this Saturday January 18, 2025 from 9am until 11 am at 3900 Tchoupitoulas / Public Storage (map). If you can’t make that time then contact Co-Captain Antoinette via text (504.717.1451) and arrange a drop off time, or drop your costume off on the porch of the krewe den Captain Amanda’s house at 7330 Sycamore. We’d like to get everything back before the end of January!
