Your job during the parade
- We are all performers. Help us create a spectacular experience for our crowd!
- Once the parade starts, keep your cell phone or camera put away
- The Joan of Arc parade includes four stops while some other section of the parade does a ceremony or performance. Groups are encouraged to plan a performance you can do to entertain the crowd wherever you are when the parade stops.
- Like last year: the parade will remain in formation for all stops. Everyone is encouraged to do something theatrical or interact with the crowd wherever you find yourself while the parade is paused for a ceremony. DO NOT LEAVE THE PARADE DURING STOPS OR TREAT IT AS A BREAK. Performance groups, these stops are your chance to really put on a show!
- All groups must remain in parade formation all the way to end of the parade.
Parade end and after
- The parade ends around 9:00 p.m. in the French Market vendor parking lot (90 French Market Place, map), where the props truck will be waiting for us.
- If your group has krewe-owned costumes or props, return them immediately to the props truck unless otherwise directed. NEVER LEAVE PROPS UNATTENDED.
