Social tonight Tuesday Sept.19 at Wrong Iron on the Greenway 

Social hour 6-8 p.m. at Wrong Iron on the Greenway (3532 Toulouse, map). Get to know other krewe members, ask questions, show off your projects and swap ideas. Drop in when you can, stay as long you like. Next social Oct. 17.


Throws Workshop Sunday Sept. 24 

Come craft with us, Sunday, Sept.24, 1-4 p.m.! All skill levels are welcome and all supplies will be provided. These are a great way to connect with other krewe members, get your questions answered, show off your own krewe projects, and bounce ideas. 7330 Sycamore St (map). Krewe Storage Unit Clean-Out Party Saturday Oct. 7 1-4 p.m. 

We need some help organizing and hauling stuff to trash and Goodwill. Maybe you could also score some cast-off craft supplies or old props!  It’s unit #120 at the Public Storage at the corner of Washington and Earhart (4474 Earhart, map). 


Book Club: The Maid and The Queen discussion Nov. 11

The Joan of Arc Book Club will discuss The Maid and The Queen, the fascinating story of the relationship between Joan and Queen Yolande, the power behind the throne. March 2 we’ll be discussing historical text The Hundred Years War, and June 1 we’ll be discussing the fiction novel Smoke City.
