References to wine, ale, mead, beer and grog — as well as drunken debauchery — are prevalent in medieval songs and stories, but what did drinks really taste like then? Historian, musician and krewe member Jamie Hauser will guide us through the history of medieval drinking and actual tasting medieval favorites like hopless beer, mead and mulled wine, interspersed with medieval drinking songs.
Tickets $30 in advance, $35 at door. Space is limited.
